The GFCSC Player of the Year Award is the original Player of the Year award which has been presented to Brian Yeo, John Simpson, Steve Bruce, Terry Cochrane, Tony Cascarino, Robert Taylor, Paul Smith and last seasons winner, Connor Masterson.
This season congratulations go to goalkeeper Glenn Morris, who topped this year's supporters' poll.

The Player of the Year cup and a glass trophy was be presented to Glenn on the pitch, by GFCSC President super Bob Taylor and members of the GFCSC committee, prior to the Swindon home game. We would like to thank Gillingham Football Club for allowing us to do this.

MARK AGATE YOUNG PLAYER OF THE YEAR
This award is named in memory of lifelong Gills supporter and former GFCSC committee member Mark Agate.
The winner of the award this season is Sam Gale. Congratulations.

A second trophy will presented to Sam prior to the Swindon home game.
SUPPORTER OF THE YEAR
The GFCSC Supporter of the Year, voted for by members, is a person who is a third generation Gills supporter who has been supporting the Gills for 64 seasons! He will also be celebrating his 70th birthday on the 26th April.
Congratulations Nick Palmer.
Malcolm Skinner was one of the Gills supporters who nominated Nick. He told us: "We both live in Reculver and Malcom found out I got the train to every home match and so offered to pick me up. Every home match he picks me up and drops me off door to door.
"If that wasn't enough he will be 70 on April 26th, last home match of the season, and he has supported the gills since he was 6 years old. His Father supported the Gills all of his life and his grandfather not only supported the Gills, but was one of the carpenters that built the original Gordon Road Stand!
"In my opinion, as a third generation Gills supporter who never misses a home game and whose history is linked to the history of the club, he is my Supporter of the Year."

A delighted Nick said: "I am truly proud, delighted and honoured to be nominated for this award. Not only for myself but on behalf of the Palmer family history of support. My Grandad, Dad, three elder brothers were all Gills supporters over the years (even my dear Mum was a Tea Lady!).
"The family tradition continues, not only through me in my 64th season, my son was a regular with me growing up but now lives overseas. A couple of my nephews and family attend regularly, so in fact the Gills can also boast five generations of Palmer support!"
Nick will receive his trophy prior to the final home match of the season against Swindon Town. Congratulations Nick, it's very well deserved.
