The GISC are delighted to announce the winners of our Player of the Year awards for the 2021/2022 season. Who won Player of the Year, Away Player of the Year and Mark Agate Young Player of the Year?
The awards are voted for by GISC Members and are strictly one vote per member. Thank you to all the members who took the time to vote.
GISC PLAYER OF THE YEAR
The GISC Player of the Year Award is the original Player of the Year award which has been presented to the likes of Brian Yeo, John Simpson, Steve Bruce, Terry Cochrane, Tony Cascarino, Robert Taylor, Paul Smith and last seasons winner Vadaine Oliver.
This season congratulations go to midfielder Stuart O'Keefe, who topped this years supporters poll.
The top three, who will all receive glass trophies at a later date, are:-
1st - Stuart O'Keefe
2nd - Aaron Chapman
3rd - Jack Tucker
Congratulations to all three winners.
MARK AGATE YOUNG PLAYER OF THE YEAR
This award is named in memory of lifelong Gills supporter and former GISC committee member Mark Agate.
The winner of the award this season is Jack Tucker. Congratulations.
A glass trophy will be presented to Jack at a later date.
AWAY PLAYER OF THE YEAR
The GISC Away Player of the Year is Aaron Chapman. Congratulations. Aaron has made some vital saves this season in goal for the Gills.
A glass trophy will be presented to Aaron at a later date.
SUPPORTER OF THE YEAR
