Updated: Apr 6, 2021

In what has been a strange 2020/21 season, with fans watching via iFollow due to Covid regulations, the Gills are still battling for a play-off place and GISC members can now vote for your Player of the Year.

GISC members have been emailed a voting form for the GISC Player of the Year Awards 2020/2021. If you have not provided us with an email address you will be sent a voting form in the post.

Voting forms can also be download from:-

The form allows members to vote for:-

  • GISC Player of the Year - Vote for your top three players.

  • GISC Mark Agate Young Player of the Year - Nominate any player who was under 24 on the opening day of the season.

  • GISC Away Player of the Year - Vote for your favourite player away from home.

  • GISC Supporter of the Year - Do you know a Gills supporter who has gone the extra mile to help others during Covid-19? They don’t need to be a GISC member to be nominated.

The GISC Player of the Year award is the original Player of the Year award which has been presented to Brian Yeo, Robert Taylor, Andy Hessenthaler, Steve Bruce and last seasons winner Connor Ogilvie.

Members are asked to list their top three players this season in order of preference. The player you put in first place receives 3 points, the second placed player receives 2 points and the third place player receives 1 point. The points are added up and the winner decided.

The top three players all receive a glass trophy, with the winner also receiving the GISC Player of the Year trophy.

Voting forms should be returned to the address provided. You can also email your votes to POTY@GillsISC.co.uk with your name and membership number. All votes need to be received by Sunday 9th May 2021.

Remember it's strictly one vote per member, so please do not email your votes and post the voting form back to us. Only one vote will count.

The result will be announced on the GISC Website and Facebook page on Saturday 15th May 2021.

If you would rather have a voting form posted, and not emailed, please email us using info@GillsISC.co.uk. A full list of previous GISC award winners can be viewed here.
