The GISC are delighted to announce the winners of our Player of the Year awards for the 2020/2021 season. Who won Player of the Year, Away Player of the Year, Mark Agate Young Player of the Year and Supporter of the Year?
The awards are voted for by GISC Members and are strictly one vote per member. Thank you to all the members who took the time to vote.
GISC PLAYER OF THE YEAR
The GISC Player of the Year Award is the original Player of the Year award which has been presented to the likes of Brian Yeo, John Simpson, Steve Bruce, Terry Cochrane, Tony Cascarino, Robert Taylor, Paul Smith and last seasons winner Connor Ogilvie.
This season congratulations go to striker Vadaine Oliver, who topped this years supporters poll.
The top three, who will all receive glass trophies at a later date, are:-
1st - Vadaine Oliver
2nd - Connor Ogilvie
3rd - Kyle Dempsey
Congratulations to all three winners who have all had an excellent season in very difficult circumstances.
MARK AGATE YOUNG PLAYER OF THE YEAR
This award is named in memory of lifelong Gills supporter and former GISC committee member Mark Agate.
The winner of the award this season is Jack Tucker. Congratulations. Jack has been outstanding in defence this season and has a very bright future ahead of him.
A glass trophy will be presented to Jack at a later date.
AWAY PLAYER OF THE YEAR
The GISC Away Player of the Year is Connor Ogilvie. Congratulations. Connor will truly be missed at Priestfield and we wish him every success for the future.
A glass trophy will be presented to Connor at a later date.
SUPPORTER OF THE YEAR
